Busy Little Chefs is a show about kids having fun in the kitchen through team work. Although they tend to make treats, they also make healthy smoothies, and other fun food. Brody is such a fearless eater. He will try anything at least once. His favorite veggies are broccoli, brussel sprouts, carrots, salads, and more. The one thing he won’t seem to eat is tomatoes. He will eat it as a pizza sauce, pasta sauce, but not a stand alone tomato. They’re too squishy in the middle. Ok, LOL!
If sugar is a concern, try a more natural alternative like Stevia, honey, or agave. We sometimes use dates in smoothies to add natural healthy sweetness.
This whole process is about the kids gaining confidence in the kitchen, through tools, scripts, ingredients, teamwork, and a beginning to end process of creating something delicious.
