Fresh Carrot & Green Juice
Wow, Fresh Carrot & Green Juice brings back so many great memories for me. When juicing starting becoming popular in the 90’s is when I got on the juice craze. I even bought the Jack Lalanne juicer. Am I dating myself? LOL
Jack Lalanne who was considered the godfather of fitness, emphasized the power of juicing and the many health benefits of making fresh juice. He brought out a line of juicers, and coined the phrase, “That’s the power of the juice!” Jack was way ahead of his time, and thanks to him we’re still part of a health minded juice craze.
Actually, I started juicing again because it’s delicious! I feel healthier, and I’m exploring juicing with my kids. Another reason I started to make my own juices is when I go to the local juice shop it’s about $10 for 16oz, and their protein smoothies are around $15. Can’t believe it!! I can make about 4x that for the same price, and organic.
Give it a try, and juicing is great for the summer. Really refreshing, and so many varieties.
I always make extra of both the carrot and green juice, and have it in the refrigerator up to 3 days.
I can’t believe how much they love to drink the juices. If the green juice is too veggie tasting add either pineapple, green apples, or pour coconut water into the glass at the end.
