How To Make Oreo Truffle Spiders

Crush 25 regular-sized Oreos in a food processor and set 1/3 cup of the crushed cookies aside.

Add the remaining crushed Oreos to a mixing bowl with the softened cream cheese.

Beat the crushed cookies and cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth.

Roll the truffle mixture into 12 equal sized balls.

Roll each Oreo truffle ball in the reserved 1/3 cup of crushed Oreos so that they are evenly coated.

Take 24 mini Oreos and separate each, gently removing the cream cheese filling. Break each cookie round into 2 pieces.

Each divided Oreo piece will become a spider leg, and since each assembled spider needs a total of 8 legs, you’ll need 2 mini Oreos for every 1 Oreo ball.

Gently push 4 cookie “legs” into one side of the Oreo ball and another 4 into the other side.

Complete your Halloween spider treats by adding 2 candy eyes on the front of each Oreo truffle.

Chill your assembled Oreo truffle spiders until ready to serve.

Storage Instructions For Oreo Spider Cookies

Keep your Oreo truffle spiders fresh by following these simple storage tips:

In The Fridge

Store these no bake Oreo truffles in an airtight container in the fridge for 5-7 days. These Halloween spider treats should not sit at room temperature for longer than 1-2 hours due to the cream cheese which can spoil.

Keep in mind that the crunchy Oreo coating and cookie spider legs will soften as these Oreo truffle spiders sit in storage.
