No-Cook Pizza Sauce Recipe With Tomato Paste

A simple and delicious pizza sauce recipe using tomato paste and tomato sauce. Just measure, mix and spread onto your pizza base.

Ingredients

  • 15 oz can tomato sauce also termed tomato passata
  • 6 oz can tomato paste also termed tomato puree
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley or dried
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

As needed

  • 1-2 teaspoons sugar to taste
  • 2-3 tablespoons water to thin

Instructions

  • In a large bowl add the tomato sauce, and tomato paste, then give it a stir to lightly mix
  • Then add the oregano, parsley, basil, garlic powder, and salt & pepper
  • Mix with a whisk or wooded spoon until all ingredients are well mixed and there are no tomato paste lumps
  • Taste, and add sugar as needed if too acidic
  • Add water, a teaspoon at a time if needed for consistency
  • Once you have the desired consistency, spread onto your flatbread or pizza
