Blueberry Cashew Breakfast Bowl

We love have this for breakfast. It's delicious, and packed with healthy ingredients for a great start of the day.

Ingredients

BLUEBERRY CASHEW BREAKFAST BOWL

  • 1/2 cup plain greek yogurt
  • 1 large frozen Bananas cut into slices and frozen
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 5 dates pitted
  • 2 tablespoons wheat germ
  • 2 tablespoons cashew butter
  • milk, or plant based milk add if needed for consistancy

TOPPINGS

  • 1/2 small banana
  • 2-3 tablespoons granola
  • 1 handful blueberries fresh, not frozen
  • 1 handful cashews chopped

Instructions

  • Slice banana, and put in freezer bag. Freeze for at least 4 hours, or overnight.
  • Add all of your ingredients to the blender, putting frozen blueberries and bananas to the top.
  • Start blending until well mixed, but mixture should stay thick. If it's too think and not blending, use 1-2 tablespoons milk or any plant based milk adding a little at a time until your desired constancy.
  • Pour mixture into a bowl, and toppings in any design you would like.
  • Eat and enjoy!

Notes

There is no added sweetener in this recipe, it is naturally sweet. If you would like to sweeten in up I would suggest agave, honey, or vanilla yogurt instead of plain yogurt.
