Halloween Magic Cookie Bars


  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine melted
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs crushed
  • 1 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate and color morsels 1 1/2 chocolate, & 1/2 colored
  • 1 1/3 cups flaked coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 2-3 tablespoons mixed halloween sprinkles


  • Heat oven to 350 degrees F (325 degrees for glass dish). Coat 13x9-inch baking pan with no-stick cooking spray.
  • Combine graham cracker crumbs and butter. Press into bottom of prepared pan. Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over crumb mixture.
  • Layer evenly adding chocolate chips first, then coconut and nuts. Press down firmly with a fork.
  • Here you can add a few more colored morsels to the top for color.
  • Bake 25 minutes or until lightly browned. 
  • Sprinkle the top with the Halloween sprinkles. Cool, and cut into bars. 


The bars tend to get very sweet with the white, and color morsels. I've added more semi-sweet chocolate to balance the sweetness.
