How To Make 4th of July Popsicles

Add the water, strawberries, and sugar to a blender and blend into a smooth puree.

Spoon the puree into the popsicle molds, making sure to only fill them ⅓ of the way. Freeze the popsicles for 2 hours.

Rinse the blender. Make the white layer by blending the coconut milk, white sugar, and lemon juice together.

Pour the creamy white layer over the frozen red layer and fill only ⅔ of the way. Transfer the popsicles back to the freezer for another 2 hours.

Make the final blue layer by mixing the water, sugar, and raspberry Kool Aid together in a bowl or mixing jug.

Pour this final layer over the frozen popsicles and then freeze these 4th of July treats for an extra 4 hours.

Storage Instructions for 4th of July Popsicles
Homemade popsicles tend to have a shorter shelf-life compared to store-bought alternatives. Here’s how you can ensure they still taste delicious, even after extended storage:
Freezing
The only way to store these 4th of July popsicles, whether you are making them ahead of time or have leftovers, is in the freezer.
Store your popsicles in the popsicle molds or remove them from the molds and wrap each popsicle in plastic wrap. You can then transfer the wrapped popsicles to an airtight container for freezer-safe bag. The plastic wrap will prevent the popsicles from sticking together.
Homemade popsicles should be eaten after a max of 2 months in the freezer for the best flavor and texture.
